BNV য়িরমিয য়োশিযর পারলৌকিক অনুষ্ঠানের জন্য কিছু গান লিখেছিলেন এবং গেয়েও ছিলেন, লোকরা এখনো সেই গান গেয়ে থাকে| রাজা য়োশিযর জন্য শোক প্রকাশ করে গান গাওযা ইস্রায়েলীয় জনজীবনের একটি অঙ্গে পরিণত হল| এই গানগুলি ‘পারলৌকিক অনুষ্ঠানের গান’ পুস্তকে লিপিবদ্ধ আছে|
KJV And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they [are] written in the lamentations.
YLT and Jeremiah lamenteth for Josiah, and all the singers and the songstresses speak in their lamentations of Josiah unto this day, and set them for a statute on Israel, and lo, they are written beside the lamentations.

ERVEN Jeremiah wrote and sang some funeral songs for Josiah. And the men and women singers still sing these sad songs today. It became something the people of Israel always do—they sing a sad song for Josiah. These songs are written in the book, Funeral Songs.
